This one has taken us a bit to figure out. On the surface, it's super easy. Just some different sized chits. But here, it's hard to find the right army at the right time for setup.
We finally found a design we liked for games with lots of unique counters. We devised a whole line of trays around it, and think they are the premier solution for wargames on Etsy.
SNAPPING LIDS KEEP UNITS SECURED
The main component of the storage system are centered around the units and armies used (gray and black pictured).
Bins are contoured to counter size, and have access via finger tip from the front and a finger hole from the back.
Counter depth is 2 units per bin. Enough that it is logical... one can put "Second Soviet Tank Guards Army" behind "First Soviet Tank Guards Army" when storing and have a reasonable presumption of how it will work. Or know that the 4 Hungarian armies are logically stored in the 2 storage bins within.
For those wanting to go 1 unit per bin, and to see EVERYTHING, we can double the number of trays.
SAFE FOR VERTICAL STORAGE
Snapping lids fit on top. Keeping units locked, set into place, and easy to find. As with most of our designs, we hate organizers that have the possibility of creating a mess. No design with this many counters should be without lids and
MISCELLANEOUS
HOW TO ORDER:
A white storage bin for miscellaneous counters (air forces, fleets, status markers, supply markers, etc) is included with all. The number of army bins 2 will fit the base game, but needs some stacking of units. A lot of these (Yugoslavian Armies) make total sense). This is how our copy is stored and seems completely playable.
For more discerning gamers, more trays allow easier access of units, and will also fit in the game box.
4 trays will allow a completely flat army count....one army unit per tray, accessible and ready to find for scenario setup.
CARDS:
There is a lot of space in the box. We can fill it up with plastic that we would be happy to charge for, but for this design, we presume it is better to keep things cheap. Cards and dice go in zip lock bags with plenty of space. Contact us if you would like a card organizer designed to fit.
