Castles of Burgundy 20th Anniversary: Storage Organizer/Insert with Sliding Lid and Removable Bins

Castles of Burgundy is a regular favorite around the PeckLabs design studios, particularly the 20th Anniversary Edition. As such we put a fair amount of effort into designing the storage solution for this game.

The highlight of the organizer is the box, enclosed with a sliding dovetail lid embossed with original silver artwork we created specifically for the Castles of Burgundy.

Underneath, you'll find all of the tiles you know and love, color coded and sized appropriately. 10 removable bins allow rapid setup:

• 4 small player bins in blue, green, red, and black hold the dice and scoring markers
• 2 large bins in black and tan hold the black and city tiles 
• 2 medium bins in green and yellow hold the animals and monastery tiles 
• 1 large bin with 4 sub-bins holds award tiles, goods, workers, and silverlings 
• 1 bin with 3 sub-bins holds the mines, castles, and boats

A permanent bin (non-removable) inside the box holds the solo tiles, expansion tiles we do not frequently use, etc.

The reference cards and trade route cards fit in a separate black piece (without lid). Recessed gaps are sized to store the components with plenty of clearance. The main storage box and the secondary storage block are sized with perfect height to provide no box lift and adequate clearance when including the manuals and game boards.
