We designed this storage organizer to make it easy to find the right mix of Crusaders, crossbowmen, and bow cavalry for our favorite scenarios. Gone are digging through baggies or huge stacks of cubes to find the right mix. See everything at a glance and find exactly what you are looking for at a glance.

Snapping lids lock cubes in place and prevent any shifting during transport or storage, while maximizing the ability to find units quickly and efficiently for each scenario.

As with our prior C&C: Napoleonics Organizer, we analyzed hundreds of possible permutations to land on an optimal mix of storage efficiency, visibility of underlying units, and usability. 

The base game consists of 4 trays and 4 lids. The expansion variation consists of 6 trays and 6 lids. 

TRAYS

Teams are identified by black and gray coloring. They have slight gaps in the back to allow fingers to access and push blocks forward for access. Each row is also accessible from the side.

Base Game (per side):
1 2-deep tray
1 1-deep tray

Storage for 96 Infantry blocks and 108 Cavalry blocks. Leaders fit into cavalry slots turned sideways. Some unit types might need to be mixed within rows, but the relatively shallow depth of 1 and 2 units means they are not buried and are accessible. For the most part units of identical types will be stacked upon each other in this arrangement.

Trays permit 12 units of infantry and 9 units of cavalry per row. 

Expansion:
1 additional 1-deep tray per side. 
Storage for 144 Infantry, 135 Cavalry 

LIDS
Each tray comes with its own honeycombed lid which snaps securely in place. This prevents unit slippage during storage or setup.

HEX/CARD STORAGE
Designed to include the components of the Crusades expansion, the hex/card storage features a dovetail lid with custom gold embossed graphics which slides into place. Storage for the hex tiles for both base + expansion is included, along with contours on the bottom to allow easy access to the cards and hexes at the bottom of the piles.

Tokens and dice are stored in 2 removable trays which stack into place and are held secure with the sliding lid.

The entire assembly is designed to fit within the cardboard 'Crusades' insert which game with the expansion game. 

BOX FITTING
The base game and trays will fit nicely in the box along with the map and reference materials. Dice and hexes must be stored in baggies with about 2CM of clearance. 

With the Crusades expansion, troop trays, the map, and manuals/reference materials go in the base box. The custom Crusades hex storage will either fit nicely within the Crusades expansion or can be stored on its own as a nice aesthetic design piece.

All Trays+Crd Holder: 
Contains 6 trays, 6 lids, 2 storage bins, 1 card holder, and 1 card holder lid. Everything pictured (with no game pieces)

Base+Exp Trays Only:
Contains 6 trays and 6 lids. Sufficient to store the cubes only while no storage presented for other playing pieces. Crusader pieces get stored with Byzantines.

Base Trays Only:
Contains 4 trays and 4 lids. Sufficient to store all of the cubes in the base game.
