QUICK ACCESS

We've seen other storage 'solutions'. A pile of blocks tucked inside some plastic.

No one wants to dig through piles of blocks looking for the right unit. We've designed ours for quick access. Units drop into place in their rows and slide nicely together when packing up the game. Infantry goes where infantry belongs, cavalry to cavalry rows.

Access from the back via fingertips allows quick grasping. We have placed a priority on maximum visibility so all cubes can be seen to find the precise Roman Heavy Infantry unit when it's needed.

ABSOLUTELY NO SPILLAGE

Our organizer uses lids which snap into place. Besides keeping things absolutely secured, they permit easy organization. Keep more advanced units in a more advanced tray and only pull them out when needed.

They also make a very tactically satisfying 'click' when fully secured.

CARDS AND DICE STORAGE IN DOVETAILED STORAGE BOX

As with the rest of our Commands and Colors designs, we've used thematic artwork for the card and dice box. Here, a classic Corinthian helmet from antiquity in gold sits on a sliding lid, which secures dice and cards into place. Ample room exists for sleeves. 

ALL EXPANSION READY (EXCEPT FOR EPICS)

We acquired and fit every expansion, other than # 5 (Epics) to ensure we have the right mix of trays and storage capacity for every side.

Expansions are color coded to find the right unit for the right scenario. 

CONTOURED AND UNIQUELY FIT TO UNIT SIZES

Base Game Layout

4 trays in total are included, 2 for each side, and both of the same layout. Brown trays for Carthage, gray trays for Romans.

One tray of 2-deep stacking units with:

• 5 rows infantry
• 1 row cavalry
• 1 row elephant / vertical leader

One tray of 1-deep units with:

• 4 rows infantry 
• 3 rows cavalry

Total storage capacity is for 168 infantry units, 45 cavalry units, and 16 elephant/leader units (per side). These are sufficient to handle all of the forces in the base game, plus the Roman blocks from expansion 3, with some room for spares.

All Expansion Layout

Comes with the base game trays, the card/dice holder, and 13 additional trays. 3 yellow, 2 purple, 2 red, 2 sky blue, 2 orange, 2 green.

Storing in the base game takes 3 full size boxes and holds all troop trays, the map, and all printed materials.

Note: the card holder MIGHT have room for the Epics expansion, but it is possible some cards might need to be stored elsewhere.
