Fresh off of understanding the minutia and complexity of the good old federal tax code, it's time to get the head back into organizer design.
We've listed 2 new items this week for 2 older (and unfortunately currently out of print) GMT titles, both of which we were able to finally source.
Enemy Coast Ahead: The Dambuster Raid
https://pecklabsdesigns.com/products/enemy-coast-ahead-the-dambuster-raid-game-organizer
Players plan the RAF raids on German dams during World War II using the famous bouncing bombs. I confess the game production quality on this one was a little underwhelming, with thinner counters and unmounted maps. We left space in the organizer in case GMT increases the counter thickness for the forthcoming reprint.
No Retreat: The Russian Front
This one looks like it should be a solid game. Nice thick components, low counter count, and it comes highly accredited. This one seems like it might be a really nice less-complex eastern front game to fill in that hole in our collection.
We've tried to price the organizers to move on these two.
Upcoming Games
The P500 from GMT's have been billed and presumably will arrive in the next week or so, and will immediately be worked into usable designs.
These will be:
- Army of the Potomac
- Three Days at Gettysburg
- Commands and Colors Expansion 7: The Grand Battles
- Thunderbolt Deluxe Edition
- Baltic Empires: The Northern Wars of 1558-1721
We're particularly excited about Army of the Potomac as we enjoy Mark Herman's work.
Before that, a design for Concordia Venus + Salsa Expansion + Solitaria Expansion should be out later this week. Nippon on Ardennes 44 are on the horizon.
Beyond that, there's a significant stack of games still to go. We're actively looking at BGG for titles that work... if there is anything in mind, feel free to reach out.
